Watch out Pandora

For anyone who saw the jaw dropping special effects in “Avatar,” start saving money now – you can now vacation in the floating “Hallelujah Mountains.”

It’s true.  Zhangjiajie, a Chinese city in the Hunan province, has renamed one of their mountains “Avatar Hallelujah Mountain” according to ABC News.

So now not only do we owe the Chinese trillions of dollars but they also have the only floating mountain on earth.  They’re literally holding it over our heads (the mountain that is).

Admittedly, the mountains in the movie do look fairly similar to the mountains in the region but renaming them might have gone a little over the top.

I’m just thinking they already have the floating mountains… do I smell “Avatar 2?”

Wow I like the picture. Yeah the buzz over Avatar has been fairly wild and I cannot believe the international success it has had especially with China’s naming of their own mountain. One funny thing that has happened thanks to this film is that not only are mountains in China being named after landscapes from Avatar, but people are actually naming their children after the characters. I feel that I have never experienced so much attention paid to a film ever. It seems that it makes national news on a daily basis.

PS. I think you are going to get a lot of hits with the tag Avatar 2. ha
